Pater Noster

Inspired by the Book of Kells, the sampler has three main components - the text which is the first part of the Lord's Prayer in Latin, the symbols which include symbols for two of the evangelists and the decoration which is typical of early manuscripts and includes rubrication (or "red dotting") which was often used to highlight words and phrases. Pater Noster measures 11.4" x 14.7" (28.8 cm x 37.4 cm) on 14 count parchment aida It is available as a chart only or as a complete kit with 14 count parchment coloured aida. (18 count aida can be substituted on request)
