Herald the new era

Our second sampler in this series incorporates the same wording as "From today..." into a design based on medieval paintings and illustrations. The sampler has an optional date included in the border and again there is space for personalisation at the bottom. The trumpeters are heralding in the new era in a style from the past.

Again we have minimised the amount of fractional stitches and backstitch is only used for the personalised lettering. This is a fairly large project but it is made up of several distinct areas and it is fun to stitch.

This design is available as a chart only or a complete kit with either 14 count white aida or 28 count white jobelan linen fabric (stitched over two threads).

Size 14.1"x 20.4" (35.7 cm x 51.9 cm) on 14 count fabric.

Please note that our sample was stitched on white fabric but that photographic reproduction has introduced a blue tint.... We will include a better photograph as soon as we can....
